We can't blame technical difficulties

Sorry for the gap since our last blog.

It doesn't mean we haven't been up to something. We've actually been really busy with a few things.....

Over the next several days, I'll plan to get you caught up...

We'll work our way backwards. Today, October 1, kicked off the Chinese mid-Autumn festival. It's a national holiday that closes workplaces for about a week. Many expats use the week to vacation in exotic locations. We are looking forward to spending some good family time right here in Shanghai.

We hung out with some super cool families at a gigantic "Green Forest" park today. Aimee has gotten to know some of the Moms and kids through Anna's "girl school". We were at the park from 9:30am until dinner time. We met at a local mall for dinner. Needless to say, the kids will sleep well tonight.

We splashed in a waterfall, watched kites, checked out a bamboo forest, rode roller coasters, ate a picnic lunch, all while being gawked at by all the nationals at the park. The best part was getting to know some other families better and hearing their Shanghai stories. Between the 4 families, there were 12 kids and their ages overlapped pretty well. A good time was had by all.

And so I don't get in trouble with certain grandparents, here are some kid pics from the last few weeks.
